Packing salvageable items out to our facility lets us use the right cleaning method for each material in a controlled environment, while reconstruction proceeds without obstacles. Specialty cleaning by material
Different items need different methods. Electronics get cleaned with anti-static specialty solvents to remove soot without damaging components. Textiles go through ozone chambers and odor-neutralizing wash cycles. Art and antiques are hand-cleaned with archival techniques. Documents and photos can be freeze-dried and recovered. - Most furniture, clothing, kitchenware, electronics, art, and even many documents and photographs can be successfully restored. We assess each item and document anything that cannot be saved for your claim.
- How long is contents storage?
- We store contents at no additional cost while reconstruction is in progress on a Poseidon-managed restoration. Pack-back is scheduled to coincide with substantial completion of the rebuild.
- Is contents cleaning covered by my policy?
- Yes, contents coverage is a standard part of homeowner's policies. We bill your carrier directly and document everything.
